Frequently Asked Questions

How long are files stored?

Files are stored for 30 days from the upload date. After this period, they are automatically deleted from our servers. Premium users can extend storage up to 365 days.

What is the maximum file size?

Anonymous users can upload files up to 1GB. Registered users have a limit of 5GB per file, and premium users can upload files up to 20GB.

Is my data secure?

Yes, all files are encrypted during upload and storage. We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Only you have access to your files through the unique sharing link.

Can I password protect my files?

Yes, registered users can add password protection to their shared files. This adds an extra layer of security to ensure only authorized recipients can access your files.

How do I delete a file?

Anonymous uploads cannot be manually deleted. Registered users can manage and delete their files from their dashboard at any time before the automatic expiration.

Are there any file type restrictions?

We accept most common file types. However, executable files (.exe, .bat, .sh) and certain system files are blocked for security reasons. Archives like .zip and .rar are allowed.

Can I track file downloads?

Registered users have access to basic analytics including download count, last access time, and geographic regions (country level only). We do not track individual IP addresses.

Is there an API available?

Yes, we offer a RESTful API for registered users. You can generate API keys from your dashboard. Documentation is available at /api/docs.
